again please post stats or links to stats/info.

A significant chunk of the PrC recommended thus far are located in books whose content isn't OGC, so giving you the contents of those books is probably not legal. Would you settle for a brief description of it's abilities, and what book you can find it in?

I like the Occult Slayer from CW, a fighter who kills magicians. I might mix in a few levels of Half-Orc Paragon from UA, then a little Orc or Human paragon for flavor. And you can't go wrong with a level or two or barbarian!

Yeah that would be nice and how is it illegal to reproduce it when you are not gaining any Money and you put out disclaimers?

Edit: all I asking for is the class abilities and stuff not for you to like scan the page or something like that, Just so I can make a decision, because just telling the name of a class without giving me any info about them like class abilities and hurts me more than helps me. becaise the name alone is useless.

oh yeah and his waepon which is a +1 flaming greatsword, which makes sense because he and the party are a bunch of Pyromaniacs

edit numero dos: Can someone post abilities of Ghost-faced killer please?

If you want ranged attacks, you could do worse than the Bloodstorm Blade PrC in the Book of Nine Swords.

Prereqs: Balance 8 ranks, Point Blank Shot, one Iron Heart strike and one Iron Heart stance.

Stats: d12 HD, full BAB, good Fort, 4 skill points, decent skill list.

The Good Stuff: You get really good at throwing melee weapons. They automatically return to you, you can execute strikes at range, treat your ranged attacks as melee attacks (Str to hit, Str x1.5 for two-handers, power attack +2/BAB!), bonus feats, hit multiple foes, and more. It's really cool.

Well, for one it is outright plagerism without citing a source and all of its decent documentation. But that isn't anybody's main concern. Primarily, the thing is that if I post something about the class, I could end up giving you enough information to not need to buy the book. In that fashion, WotC has no longer profitted on what was officially their copywritten material - as they deserve to profit.

Having said that, I could say that the Occult Slayer is a fighter based PrC who hates magic and has abilities that are geared towards turning a mage's attacks back against the mage. Things more specific than that - like giving names of the abilities or brief descriptions of what they do - is breaking copyright laws. Laws which I strongly believe should be there to protect authors and companies.

Nonlethal Force is right.

I'll give you a brief description of the Order of the Bow Initiate's general requirements and abilities, and same for the Ghost-Faced Killer, but that's it. I also don't know if the G-FK was altered at all when reprinted in 3.5 (I assume it was reprinted in Complete Adventurer or something?). It originally appeared in Dragon Magazine. The OotBI originated in Sword & Fist but is, I do believe, reprinted with little or no changes in Complete Warrior.

The Ghost-Faced Killer basically requires ranks in a few sneaky skills and a bit in some skills used for magic and freaking people out. It otherwise requires the character to be a pretty decent warrior and ninja-like or assassin-like guy, and ya have to evil; it's really an oriental, mystical assassin as the name implies. The prerequisites include four feats and four skills. It's got pretty decent combat ability, and various class features (mundane ones and mystical ones) that help it assassinte an opponent quickly. Other than that it focuses on sneaking about like a ghost, and can freak people out sometimes. A really cool prestige class, but more of a roguish one than a fighter PrC.

The Order of the Bow Initiate requires several archery-related feats and specialization in any bow, and little else. It focuses on sneak attacks with a bow and developing other techniques from mastery over the art of archery. The OotBI is a fairly good warrior, but all its class features center on mastering the bow. Not a mystical class in its abilities, but the flavor of the class is meant to convey a philosophical archer, like the eastern monks of Asia who practice zen archery.

The CW Order of the Bow initiate is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike the S&F Order of the Bow initiate. The S&F class gets ranged sneak attack and some other weird stuff that reinforces the machine-gun archer schtick. The CW class gets ranged precision, which is a special attack doing extra damage as a standard action (thus: no benefit when full attacking). About the only thing they have in common is the flavour text.

The S&F class was considered borderline broken (especially since 3.0 was very kind to archers to start with), while the CW class is generally considered weak (but thematically much closer to the fluff).

The CW class is a prime candidate for reworking using Bo9S mechanics, I'd say.

Found OotBi online pretty sweet class, and as for G-FK we are having a session today so I get acces to my copy of Complete adventurer. YAY! and I like the sound of Occult slayer, what book is it in?

edit: disregard Occult slayer question. Have found online. Damn, that is a scary class, I love it.
