Fighting Fantasy books reissued in UK

This may have been mentioned on the boards before, but if it has I've certainly missed it. Apperently some of the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks developed by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone are being reissued in the UK, having died a death in the late 1990's (something which I was completely unaware of).

Anyone in the UK (and probably many other countries) who was the right age in the late 80's early 90's will have certainly encountered them. I haven't a clue where my old books have gone, but I'll probably pick up some of ones I have vague recollections of - if just for the retro value.

Hi nikolai! :)

I was aware they were being reissued. I am the proud owner of about two dozen of the books myself.

Someone should email Ian Livingstone and suggest they release the very detailed game world of Titan as a d20 campaign setting. Or alternatively they should release some of the books as d20 adventures.

Don't have any, but a friend had shelves of 'em and I grew to admire them. Good news, then.

Also, a Titan d20 book would at least be worth a look... my 2cp.

Actually, the first lot of books were reprinted in the middle of last year.

And if you haven't heard, they are making Lone Wolf into a d20 system game...

Yeah, what we need is another OGL Freeport. I think we only have two right now. :)

I think the FF books themsleves could be redone as cool single player d20 adventures.

The first six of the reprints are available in Australia - also in some of our major chains, at a very reasonable price (approx aus$8). I've picked up Creature of Havok that way, which I didn't have before. A real classic!

Cheers!
