Speaking as a former lab tech... while I've never done it, I know that drugs can be detected in hair and nails far longer than in blood or urine. It's a terribly expensive test, so it's not done often at all. Usually, a urine screen is sufficient, and it's a lot cheaper.

Not sure. After Olaf posted that last week, I went hunting on the news web sites, and couldn't find any reliable news sources that mentioned either incident.

Unless someone can point to one, I'd call it unfounded rumor, and thus, I'm not trusting you for lotto numbers, either.
