IMPROVED INITIATIVE!!!

Congratulations Improved Initiative, oh least unpopular of all the feats. You may stay on the island (though many of us, no doubt, are happy to leave you there. )
Thanks everyone for participating. I hope you enjoyed the exercise, even if your favourite feat along the way. It certainly gave us a lot of food for thought along the way, lots of very close rounds, (not least of which the penultimate round!) and lots of amusing posts.
I'm now going to take a holiday. Before I go however, I have the last of the few awards to give.

First of all we have the Round 20 Award, the 'be a mile away and have his shoes' award goes to Charwoman Gene for starting his own Survivor Thread before this one had even finished. (Better than a Sig VIrus, I say.)


The overall Feat Survivor Thread Survivor award goes to Gez for not only voting in just about every thread, but also railing against whatever Feat he thought was unworthy to still be there. Thanks Gez, and everyone else for playing a part in the threads

Woo Hoo! Improved Init! Though I didn't really pick a favorite to win until the list had been shortened significantly. While probably proving nothing, it was an entertaining set of rounds.

It proved how out of touch my group is with the EN population, at least - we wouldn't have put Improved Init in the top ten.

And thus ends a saga. The campaigns for and against each feat were fierce, but in the end only one could survive. And, it seems Improved Initiative was the least hated. If only you knew what has now been unleashed upon the world. If only you knew... But, that is a story for another day.

Improved Initative was bound to win, because it was the only feat that helped everyone do what they do best, which is going first and doing what ever it is they do.

It wasn't the favored feat, it was the least hated. Remember the ones people disliked were gotten rid of. The polls had nothing to do with what people actually liked.

That's why there were hundred of people voting and not just one I guess. Also, I would imagine if people made such lists few people would put it in the top ten. But people were more likely to vote for other feats then it.

Hence the reason I noted initially that my group was out of step with opinions here. If you thought I said anything other than that, either you or I have failed to understand something in a pretty significant way.
