" Is Bhalag decent in a fight, if so maybe rethlin should trail Kae to makesure shes safe. Then again shes a big girl who can take care of herself. Either way, I have no objection to waiting until master Veyk is awake before setting off."

Zook then turns to ambra and smiles, looking into her eyes" Im glad you are familiar with the library. It shall be quite fun having partners to to peruse the library with me for a change. It can get lonely goign throguh all those books alone."

OOC: Won't make an IC response until I know whether Kae's on her own or not. But, just a heads-up, I'm moving house on Thursday. And then off on holiday on Saturday. All in all there will be about 10 days when my posting will be nil. Soooo... it might work out quite nicely if Kae is on her own 'off-camera' for that time, researching bolts and the tenant of that apartment the mook mentioned. And maybe being captured and tortured or whatever. :D

"Very well then my friends, I will go along with Lady Kae. Bhalag can go with us or go to the Library, his choice. We can all meet at the Library later this afternoon." Replies Rethlin as he heads out to catch up with Kae.

Ooc

OK, I have Rethlin and Kae off Fletcher hunting.

Zoon and Ambra are going to the library at Mourngrave U.

Veyk needs to make a decision about where he's going.

I leave anybody out?

Investigating through Sharn

Rethlin and Kae go fletcher hunting. Several hours later, they have amassed the following facts:
The arrowhead is originally a Karnathi design: mind you, any master fletcher can make them.
There are a half-dozen places in Sharn that sell arrows like that, either by making them themselves or importing them from elsewhere -- Karnath, presumably.
The McCallack brothers are triplets: a human, a half-orc, and a half-elf. Nobody asks about their family life.
The Brothers run a successful industrial forge: cogs, barrel hoops, chain, wire, nails, hinges, locks, etc. As far as anyone knows they don't make weapons, but they could if they wanted to.

Now, the library.
The library at Mourgrave U used to be friendly and welcoming. But in the last year they've had two robberies here, at least one of which also involved a murder.
As a result, there's a long line outside the library as people's person's and bags are checked by some assistant professors, backed up by polite mercenary swordsmen.

Signs declare No Weapons Allowed in Library and Please Leave all Bags at Counter.
The line consists of scholars and students from all over Khorvaire talking, fretting, or grumbling.

A trio of halflings arrive pushing a handcart, which unfolds into a small noodle cart and drink stand. Business surges, as people resign themselves to spending a long time waiting to study.

"Buy our noodles! They're dreamy good and build brainpower!"

None to keen to part with his stuff for the second time in only a few hours, Bhalag says to Ambra and Zook, " You two leave your stuff with me, I think I'll be waiting out here in the fresh air. No sniffing dusty tomes for me today, I guess. "

Meanwhile, he regrets that his new affiliation is not the sort he can parade around to get through the check without having to give up his weapons. He half-suspects that the halflings are the killers, having proactively done the murdering in order to create a new business opportunity.
