Final words...

Kae strolls over to Rethlin and Bharag and remains standing next to their table, stretching and yawning massively. "Morning," she says sleepily, looking about her and taking in the scale of the place.

"Did I really just see Zook getting lucky? Or is this gods-forsaken hour of the morning doing strange things to my brain?"

"Did I really just see Zook getting lucky?"

"Lucky or cursed? It is all a matter of perception, is it not M'lady?" Rethlin responds. "Regardless, I believe they are preparing for the battle ahead, the woman has information about our enemies."

Bhalag shudders. " I'm not caring to dwell on what exactly that darned gnome is doing, as long as he isn't getting himself killed or giving us away to the enemy, " says Bhalag.

Kae scratches her head. "Right. That... sounds wise." She takes a seat and looks about for a waiter or waitress to accost for some coffee and one of those skillet thingies.

Her gaze strays curiously over to where those men were arguing. If things have escalated then it might provide some light entertainment while she waits for her breakfast.

Sadly, from Kae's perspective. things appear to be winding down.
The young man who looks like Hoagy Carmichael appears to be winning with the aid of a paper he's brandishing.

The waitress arrives and takes the order for a skillet, then returns a few minutes later with the food. It's hot and good, though not particularly peppery.
She requests Kae leave her spear in the umbrella stand, however.

"So," Kae says through a mouthful of breakfast, "What's the plan anyway? We're headed off when we've eaten and Zook's finished with... whatever he's doing?"

So im gonna prepare spells eventually

In the diner, the man arguing with the watch comes back, with victory but without doughnuts.
He sits down next to Bharag, orders coffee, and discreetly puts something from a hip flask inside it.
"I'll never understand what it is with watchmen and fried foods..."

Meanwhile, in Zook's cozy bunk....
The woman mediates herself as Zook prepares his spells. As they finish together, she reaches out and traces the symbol of Aureon on his spellbook.

"My gods are not yours. What god's is this symbol?"

Zook smiles opening his books and showing her his prayers " This is Aureon, the God of Knowledge. A legend has it that he ascended to Godhood through his sheer breadth of knowledge and mastery of magic. I idolize him, seek to gain that level of knowledge, so I have begun mastery arcane magic and the prayers that he has left us behind.
However, other gods have these powerful prayers as well, I borrow a prayer from an Ancient Elven commander, which forces people to follow short orders of mine and I have heard of ancient prayers to goblin God's which evoke great power. I say prayers to other gods so that I may perfectly emulate him. Tell me, what gods do you follow?

The woman's shoulders shake for a moment. A trail of moisture soaks her veil at the corner of her eyes.

"Very disappointed ones." she whispers, half choked with emotion.
