OOC: Sorry, I thought Rethlin could run, but that is a full round action. It is not clear where this barricade is. Is Manticore within 40 feet so Rethlin can charge?

The freight yard is roughly circular and 60 feet across.
The barricade at the entrance is between the party and Manticore: Zook and Kae have been using it for cover as they fire.
Manticore is at the far side of the freight yard, 60 feet away. So no, he cannot be charged from Rethlin's current position.
(Well, not with a 20' move)

OOC: OK, there is no choice, Rethlin has to run over there. We will continue to be peppered by bolts until we all die. This is a full round action, during which Rethlin loses his Dex bonus to AC (which is only 1). So right now his AC is 20.

Rethlin runs the entire distance to the square directly in front of Manticore.

OOC: 3 rounds remain on Resistance. 4 rounds remain on Protection from Evil. Bless is also in effect from Zook. And the effects of James' song continues for 4 more rounds.

Rethlin charges forward, bearing the light of the Flame into battle.
Behind him, the watch wavers, torn between following the priest, pulling their shot comrade to safety, and not getting the security guard's throat slit if something goes wrong.
Finally they choose discretion over valour: one of them ducks behind the barricade with James while two others drag their shot comrade behind the guard shack.

Manticore smiles, his confidence returning. One man lumbering towards him through an open field in heavy armor.
How hard can it be to make this zero-deflection, no-cover shot?
"Sweet Sovereign Host!" James whispers, horrified. "That idiot's going to get himself killed!"
Manticore's crossbow snaps twice, with dreadful finality.

Manticore shoots (1d20 8=19, 1d10 2=3, 1d20 8=16, 1d10 2=9)

Rethlin continues on, untouched.
The watchman at the barricade converts to the Silver Flame on the spot.

Sedar is up, unless he's still struggling with some ropes.
