FINALLY! - My first D&D group!

Fonkin Hoddypeaks

Isn't the name Fonkin Hoddypeaks one of Gary Gygax's characters?

The name comes from the G1-G3 series, Against the Giants. It was one of the pregenerated characters in the back. Along with the other classic name "Gleep Wurp the Eyebiter". Classic stuff...

Whoa! Good luck, but playing multiple character is tough even for experienced players, let alone for beginners. If the reason is survival in the ToEE, I'd suggest you let them play one character each, and give them three or four extra levels instead.

Thanks for all the kind words! :)

I was actually thinking of dropping the party to 4 PCs, so they only have to play 2 each. That would probably make it a heck of a lot more managable.

Back in the days of 1e as a newbie I started right off playing two characters as was the habit in our group. For me a least, a third would have been a bit much.

Good luck and please do let us know how this all works out.

Paul,

Good luck. You might also want to consider seeking a few more players in the Gamers seeking Gamers section. I am a little far from you, though still in the Chicago area. A few veterans might be a fun addition to your game.

The key thing is to keep the players interested and make sure everyone is having fun.
