Finally you can buy a mule

I don't. The "There's no mule" was the most popular complaint about with regards to there not being lists and lists of mundane items purchasable.

Yeah I was the instigator of the Mule threads. And I see that you understand that it really wasn't about the Mule itself but the fact that there was hardly anything to buy that wasn't used in combat.

I call bull on your mule scoop!

In my games we just reskin a riding horse and call it a "dreadtail donkeyhorse"! B-)

Then you haven't found a donkeyhorse?

The issue with reskinning something like the horse is not that it can't be done. It's the fact that there are GMs who wouldn't know how much to charge for something like that. The 75 gold that a horse costs would be way to expensive for a Mule and noone would buy it. Most of us can just grab another game or edition and just look it up but it's not something we should have to do.

It all boils down to the fact that 4e had little in the way mundane things that mean little in combat but SHOULD be part of the game world. Hopefully MME will have this kind of stuff in it.

I'm actually looking forward to this quite a bit. Currently running a low-level, low-magic game, and so having some decent guidelines for "how much does it cost to rent a horse and cart for a day" - and other stuff along those lines - would be useful. I can (and have been) largely pulling numbers out of thin air or via other sources, sure, but it will be a lot more useful to me than more themes or whatever. (An area where I find the WotC offerings largely lacking, but home-brewed customized ones for each character are ideal.)
