Oh dear, I've wanted those skills SO much for my impending warlock that I might just have to swap him out of Sage to get them.

Guild membership - food lodging funeral expenses and a central meeting place. if your accused of a crime they may lend you a lawyer. May be able to get access to powerful politicians. 5gp a month dues


they also have a variant called "guild merchant"

Blerg. I'm well excited for 5E, but this bugs me; why does a god of the forge have Knowledge as his sole domain? ...I will reserve judgmeent until I get to read the domains for myself, but I'm inclined to wish there were a few more.
 

Not sure if this was mentioned yet but they included the pantheons for forgotten realms, greyhawk, dragonlance, eberron, non human, celtic, Egyptian, norse and greek settings. That was a nice surprise.

Hey Brian, since you appear to also have access to a PHB, which planes are in Appendix C? A quick list would be nice...

great wheel is back. outlands. upper and lower, positive and negative energy, feywild and shadowfell, far realm, Elysium, the beastlands, arborea, ysgard, limbo, pandemonium, the abyss, carceri, hades, gehenna, the nine hells, acherron, mechanus, arcadia, mount celestia, bytopia earth air fire water elemental chaos (yup chaos as well as individual ones)

honestly the drawing is awesome

guess what else is back? Gate towns on the outlands (Tears of joy)

They do explicitly say you can freely mix and max.
If you like all of the proficiencies for Artisan take them and just add the Sage special ability... with your DM's permission of course.
