Cleon

Could bump Wis and Cha 1 point each, but I don't think it's necessary.
I'll agree with the skills and feats being standard mimic + wizard stuff, and what you have is pretty good for the skills.
Do we need to put in the spell book or just the spells prepared?
Wizards normally list the spell book, don't they? I was just going to add some utility spells (comprehend languages, read magic, knock or whatever).
We'll need to decide on its Prohibited lists.
We've got the following spells from the original: audible glamer, cantrip, spook, Nystul’s magic aura, hypnotic pattern, improved phantasmal force, and invisibility.
I'd think the 3E equivalents are:
audible glamer - ghost sound - Illusion
cantrip - no equivalent
spook - cause fear - Necromancy
Nystul’s magic aura - magic aura - Illusion
hypnotic pattern - hypnotic pattern - Illusion
improved phantasmal force - minor image - Illusion
invisibility - invisibility - Illusion
So we've got five Illusions and one Necromancy. There's also mention of then charming victims, so we'll need to keep Enchantment. Transmutation would also seem to fit its shapeshifting nature.
That leaves us with Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination and Evocation.
I don't really see them throwing fireballs about, so shall we cut Evocation?
Conjuration will let them trap victims in web or summon assistants, so I think we'd better keep it.
Divination fits their love of knowledge.
That leaves Abjuration as their other Prohibited School.
So, does Abjuration and Evocation suit you for its Prohibited Schools?
EDIT: Updated with temp green for the Prohibited Schools and spells.
