Fireballs and fog/cloud spells?

In the obscuring mist spell decription, it mentions that the fog can be burned off by things like a fireball if memory serves me correctly. This description entry is noticeably absent in the texts for fog cloud, stinking cloud, solid fog, and cloudkill. Am I correct in inferring then that only obscuring mist fog is burned off by fireball and similar effects?

A judgement call on this is probably in order.

Obscuring mist may be all turned into steam and burnt away- perhaps fog cloud is denser and thus not as affected, and the others made up of materials that are not affected by the heat of a fireball. I would keep the dispelling power of fireball to just obscuring mist otyherwise it makes fireball a lot better as a counterspell than it should be (at least in my opinion).

Obscuring mist states specifically that a fireball has this effect, the other spells do not. I'd say that's a no on fireball burning away the other fog spells.
