Firefly - First Episode: Serenity

They like to slip very subtle Firefly references into Castle. The first one I noticed (and I wasn't even sure if it was a reference at the time) was one where he shot a bad guy in the knee, Beckett tells him, "Nice shot!" and he says, "I was aiming for his head."

More recently, Beckett and Castle corner some Asian bad guys and Castle surprises Beckett by speaking to them in Chinese. She asks him where he learned it, and he says, "TV show I used to love."

I'll be in my bunk.

Amen. 'Oh, I'm going to the special hell...'

Even beyond her scrumptuous appearance, the two had such a wonderful Catwoman/Batman vibe set up and I was looking forward to her future appearances. My wife watches Mad Men for a wide variety of reasons, such as plot, characters, and the period drama. I watch it for Christina Hendricks.

Objects in Space aired December 2002.
Caleb arrived to Buffy in Dirty Girls in April 2003.

Yeah, after Firefly was cancelled, Joss Whedon managed to get Nathan Fillion the chief-henchman gig in Buffy, and Gina Torres (Zoe) a role as the big-bad in Angel.

My wife and I devoured the firefly DVDs a neighbor lent us last year.

Now, with our big tv, we are watching it streaming with our teenage sons, and they love it.

Jane makes my youngest son crack up everytime he opens his mouth.

I would give you XP, but it says I have reached my limit for the day. (First time for everything, I guess.)
So instead I will give you an honorable mention, and stop back by tomorrow.
