They all do. Except Simon and River. But they are trying to pass as Alliance, and all Alliance are supposed to wear hats.

According to the commentaries the vast amount of camera work on Serenity itself are all handheld. ALL of the shots of Alliance ships, on Alliance ships are stedicam. Oh and they all wear hats. Whendon had a thing where he wanted as many of the bad guys as possible wearing hats. He didn't get all of them but you never see one of the good guys in a hat ('cept in the civil war flashbacks.)

I like Jayne... I've had a character I really enjoyed (long before I've seen Firefly) that he strongly reminds me of. Managed to get our kind-hearted DM to splutter helplessly quite a few times. Ah, that was a fun game.

I am a convert to the show - I think I just got through with episode #8. You just have to love the one liners and the oddball actions that seem to have come strait from an RPG character.

Well, I like it, but it did have to grow on me. In a recent interview I read Jos saying the best line In Star Wars to him was:

Luke: "What a piece of junk!"

Regarding the first look of the Mellenium Falcon. Admittedly, that ship wasn't so great to look on either at first, and Joss wanted a beat up loveable thing like what Solo had.
