First Look at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Looks friggin sweet.

My only nit pick is that I'm not yet totally convinced with their choice of actress for Cho Chang. Although I admit that, being asian myself and seeing many asian girls in my community, in asian films, and asian tv shows, I kind of have different tastes perhaps. Not that the actress isn't cute....just not what I had in mind. *shrug*

But Goblet of Fire is my favorite book and I'm glad that the movie for it is almost here. Many say PoA was their favorite, but for me...its GoF all the way. :D

Well, 'Mad-Eye' Moody doesn't look quite like I had hoped, but he'll do.
I'll have to see how he is in the actual movie, but the photo's and clip I saw showing him look horrible. Compared to his description and chapter drawing that is.

Right--I'll certainly go into the movie with an open mind.

But when I freeze-framed the clip, it looked like he was just wearing a monocle with a lame 3-D eye effect on it (like the goofy glasses you can buy with holographic eyes on them, but just a monocle).

Still, that's relatively minor. Spoiler:
Besides, maybe the imposter is faking the 'roving eye' bit really poorly!
We shall see!

I was heartened to hear Chris Columbus (on the PoA bonus disk) talking about the special effects in the first movie and how disappointed everyone was at how poorly they were done (he was a bit more tactful in the description). The effects have gotten better and better; I hope those in GoF are the best yet.
