First official defector?

I'm beginning a short 3.5 everything goes campaign this sunday, and when it's done, I'm going to run Shackled City. As cool as everything 4e sounds, 3.5 has a serious advantage: I can play it right now! :p

I'm starting Shackled City next week, gonna try to get through it as fast as possible. After that, I want to run Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk, and link the end of that module to the changes that happen in 4e. If possible, I might run a couple of one shots when the 4e PHB comes out.

"im still in a 3.5 game, but my interest in the 3E boards is kinda dead - Im mostly just searching though the 4E threads now."

"Honestly, the only reason I'm sticking with my current 3.4e game is so I have a pool of players to play 4e with."

My sentiments exactly.

Though ever since I got my carnie hands on Saga, I have been a little bit resentful about running my fortnightly Planescape campaign.

The second I get hold of that 4th edition PHB, I'm going to shove straight up my bottom!

See, that's what I said to my son. "Are you saying you don't want to play any D&D until after you graduate from fifth grade!?"

I mean, eight months is a long, long time when you're ten years old, isn't it? That's, like, forever!

That sort of fanaticism borders on "no sex until marriage" except less dirty and more geeky. :p
