First Time Using Digetal Coloring

This picture was my first attempt at using photoshop to color an image. How does it look? Anything look wierd?

As you may notice, I used the black & white picture of the monk from the WotC website and colored it as best as I could to look similar to the one in the book.

That's pretty damn good!

You should do some of the other iconics if you have access to 'em. But try to mix it up a bit. I always wondered what Kruskk would look like in hot pink!

Either that, or ask Kip the Bold if you can do some digital coloring of his free PC portraits he's been doing. I'll doubt he'll mind, as long as you ask him and/or the person who asked for the portrait. (Definitely make sure with him, IMO.)

It fine with me if you want to color the following characters he did for me. And if you do, try to stay with dark browns and greens for 'em.

I am impressed. However, one quick suggestion: Try making the trousers darker (or at least the shadows on the trousers darker). As it currently stands, it just looks too... bright. Her left arm is quite dark, indicating that there isn't much ambient light, so I'm ruling out the bright sunlight that would be needed to make green pants that bright.

Other than that, it's sweeet.

Looks great, but I also agre with the pants. The shadows should be a little darker and a few top highlights of very light green or white would also help. I say take it up to white because that is what you did with her skin tones. anyway, looks real good.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I realized the pants were too bright. I had the hardest time on the pants, so I guess I can practice on that.

Dabuk Tigerstorm {the character with the bow}
Half-elf ranger
Dabuk grew up without a mother and a father that he hardly ever saw. His split heritage allows him two places that he calls home. His mother was a forest elf druid from Woodknot, Eiithinia Starchild, and his father is the human ranger, Garth Tigerstorm. Both were heroes in the Second Ogre War.
From a young age he was closer to his grandfather than anyone, which ultimately lead to Dabuk joining the Tiger Guild in the Kingdom of Thallin. The young half-elf thrived in the city and applied his natural wilderness talents in the city as well.
In fact, Dabuk is as a good a tracker as his father in the wilderness and can also out-track most of his fellow guild members through the streets of Fruen. However, he shines the most when in the forests around Woodknot. Not that he’s been allowed there since the Elders cutoff the region from the rest of Harqual.This has annoyed the young ranger, as he is no longer able to visit his mother’s druidic grove. And he would be heartbroken to find out that Woodknot has been overrun by fiends that have defiled the region around the grove. And while it still stands, it won’t be long before the wards put in place, to protect the grove begin to fail.Dabuk hates ogres with a passion due to the fact that it was a group of ogres that killed his mother and his Aunt Lisa-Ann. He is positive that ogres were also responsible for the death of his Uncle Kevin, after the man disappeared trying to locate the ogres that killed his wife.

Bactra Redwind

Bactra is the son of one of the heroes of the Second Ogre War, Minonus Redwater. The young elf knows little of his father’s past heroics, as Minonus has gone out of his way to downplay his role in the war. Both Minonus and Garth decided it was best that Bactra and Dabuk be kept in the dark for as long as possible in hopes that the boys’ lives would not be overshadowed by the past deeds of their fathers. And while this has worked to a degree the two were off adventuring together, as soon as they could survive on their own. And knowledge of their parents’ heroics soon came to light. However, Bactra is a little more in the dark than Dabuk. Bactra hasn't seen his family in over a year. After the Elders cutoff Woodknot from the rest of Harqual, Bactra found himself alone and cast out by his people. As a result he has gladly followed Dabuk on several quests including a trip to another land called The Fallenlands. Bactra is also to soon be a father himself after a he spent the night with a human girl named Amia. He is unsure whether or not to accept the child as his own or let the girl raise the child without him.

I kind of like the pants the way you did it but to each their own.
