Five (or so) favorite RPG books for lore/reading pleasure

GURPS WW2 Weird War Two - required reading for any secret history game leading into or out of the war - which is to say, the majority of the 20th Century
The Knuckleduster Cowtown Creator - a perfect how-to for a setting. If you didn't want to play a western before you pick this up, you will after reading it.
Pulp Egypt - does justice to the setting in the same way, and an good example of a systemless product.
Bookhounds of London - the most efficient presentation of an major urban environment I've come across.
A Magical Society - Silk Road - a look at one of Earth's most interesting times and places, with ways to port it to fantasy.

Honorable Mention
The Dracula Dossier Director's Handbook - packed full of stuff for a great campaign.
Tour of Darkness - this was the first Savage Worlds book I read, and it still strikes a great balance between setting, mechanics, campaign & fluff.
GURPS Cabal- a kitchen-sink book for any real world occult game.
