You know I don't think this is a bad idea in theory.

Our house rules is that if any opponent has the opportunity to make an AoO, then his target to hit the tumbler is equal to the tumbler's Tumble check plus the tumbler's Flat Footed AC (since tumble includes the DEX modifier). If the tumbler is unopposed, the standard DC 15 applies.
