Flash Programmers Wanted

BTW, Michael, i remember your laptop was a bit slow. You can use mine for the actual show if you want.

It wasn't the computer, it was a corrupted file structure. My computer has a 2.1 ghz processor - it's more than fast enough to handle this if the file is compiled properly (which it wasn't)

Familiar with Macromedia Flash?? If so I could really use your help on next year's Ennies.

You can take a look at my Flash Work. I work for a webdesign company and have created several Flash "Webmercials". They are on this page on the right side column.

If you like what you see, let me know what you have in mind.

I can definitely use your help, but I'll get ahold of you after the holidays (around the 5th)
Sounds good... I'm pretty crazy this time of year anyway... actually I'm crazy the whole year, I just celebrate it more now.. ;)

Every time I see this thread I think it says "Flesh programmers wanted", and I quietly shudder imagining just what a flesh programmer does. I get visions of cenobites.

It's been a while since I've done any professional Flash work (there's still people working in tech jobs outside of India?), but I know the tool, use it on a few personal sites, and may be able to help depending on what time of year we're looking at.

Development will be continuous from January to August, with the most intensive work in August as the nominees and winners become known.

I do a little of this and that with flash.

Depending on how much you know about it, it should be easy enough to set up the movies/transition and you can just go into the Flash Library and change the names of nominess and such. Its actually very simple and straight forward.

I am doing flash training peices for the National Guard right now.

might take some time to load on slow connections.

I would suggest burning the files to a CD or DVD along with the most current Flash Player Plug-In, so you could use any computer/laptop available in case of unforseen complications.

Also I am very bored so I might actually have time to flesh out some ideas, or whatever.

Clay

PS, still working on my site but its mostly there.
