Flat footed

I have a silly question.


Are you considered not flat footed as soon as you can make an attack or as soon as your initiative occures at the beginning of combat?

You are flat-footed until your turn comes up in the initiative order. If you have the Combat Reflexes feat, you can make attacks before this, but you're still considered flat-footed.

Hmm...I never saw bit under combat reflexes before...but as I check the SRD, it's there...
