• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Flaw Curious, Avoids People, Needs People. Can these Flaws work together? What would a character with them be like?

You could play it as an autophobic introvert who feels removed from other people, but is fascinated by the doings of social groups. A character like that would want to spend time alone among a crowd, compulsively eavesdropping, but not getting involved in the interesting, but messy and exhausting business of social interaction.

Maybe the avoidance of people is for a more pragmatic reason? Maybe the character grew up in a squalid urban area, and a criminal or watchman paid him to keep his ear to the ground. He was shabby and easily ignored, and used those things to get useful information. As a result, he's keenly interested in the doings of other people, but hesitant to get involved.

EDIT: Just saw the post date. Never mind me!
