Fomorians article on DDI

Man, M:tG really does have better art than D&D. They need to make more of the art available across company lines. It would be cost efficient and make for better supplements.

(Cough) Spellfire (Cough)

Oh, I agree with you. I just see the drow having a larger role in this Feydark than mentioned.
In W&M there's a sidebar called The Underdark and the Feywild:

[snipped] We brefly kicked around the idea of making the Feywild Underdark the home of the drow, since eladrins are associated with the Feywild too, but ultimately decided that it would be a shame to make the drow an essentially extraplanar threat. Instead, we settled on the Fomorians [snipped]

Perhaps. My point is, 'recycling' art from CCGs to RPGs -- or vice versa -- get you hordes of angry fans.
Spellfire caused hordes of angry fans, but that's because the game sucked, not because the art was recycled. ;)

Personally, I'd love for the M:tG artwork to get 'recycled'. Hell, I'd love to see the M:tG settings get recycled. Ravnica and Lorwyn would make great campaign settings.

But I'm probably in the minority.

I'd love it too. WotC could also achieve some vertical integration by recycling some M:tG CCG fans to their D&D RPG. But I also understand Lizard's point of view that some D&D fans could be very opposed to this idea.
