Fomorians article on DDI

Meh, Feydark is fine. The name was used for 9 years in Everquest without anyone even raising a single snarky comment.
Although we certainly complained about random brownie beat-downs and drive-by unicorn stabbings in the Lesser Feydark.

I've never before or since been so scared of cute little fairies.

Tell me a-friggin'-bout-it.

I had to get a high level thief in our guild to find my body.

If the Feydark is the Underdark equivalent in the realm of the Feywild...

Then we're going to have an Underdark equivalent in the real of the Shadowfell.

Shadowdark sounds redundant.
FellUnder sounds more like a comical mishap.
Shadowunder sounds like soiled underwear.
Felldark is only slightly silly and has a catchy comparison to the Feydark.

Underdark has no effect in the Feywild but Feywild contain a part that has an Underdark.
I don't know if you understand, but it's not entirely symmetrical meaning the opposite is untrue, because the Underdark his real and not a plane.

I don't think all of these places and planes have a symmetrical equivalent.

"The White Kingdom" has a nice ring to it, though ...

I liked the article. I really really like that they're using the planes as "the fantastical place where stuff is going on with lots of adventure hooks" and not "the fantastical place where monsters x, y and z come from"

As for feydark, yeah, it rates a "meh." Usable, Not excellent, not Golden Wyvern bad.

Alternatives off the top of my head:

Feygloom
Wildroot (Wyldroot, for those of you who go in for that sort of thing)
Rootdepths
Fomori pits

Or, to appropriate the mythological: Annwn/Annwyn. That's very specifically the fey underworld in welsh mythology, and probably what I'll use.

I like 'Undershadow', but 'Underfell' could work too.

The Wyld is pretty sexy though. ;) So is the Underworld.

I don't see why every name in the game needs to be "The AdjectiveNoun." Many of the planes and most of the monster types are adjectivenouns. The planar exceptions, The Astral Sea and the Elemental Chaos, are evocative names precisely because they're not adjectivenouns. They can draw upon imagery without being constrained by the need to cram it into a single word.

Um. Isn't "The Astral Sea" just "The Adjective Noun?"
