[For Psion] What Books do you actually use?

Books used last session:

PHB 3.5E; DMG 3.5E; MM 3.5E
Miniatures Handbook (favoured soul, feats)
Complete Warrior (swashbuckler, feats)
Unearthed Arcana (defense, reputation, urban ranger, reserve points)
Living Greyhawk Gazetteer

Cheers!

Let's see..

3 Core Rulebooks

Artificer's Handbook (wizard was trying to create some magic items)
Philip J. Reed's _Book of Unusual Treasures_ to reference a spell
Book of Exalted Deeds (a spell was used from this book)

We looked at Torn Asunder, but didn't use it. I do use it, but no one criticaled.

That was it.

So, with the exception of Exalted Deeds (which I don't even own), that's the contents of my bag I take to my friend's house.

If it says "Forgotten Realms" regardless of edition, or "Dungeons and Dragons" on it, I use in some form or another at any given time. The two D20 books that I have that I use are World Builder and Living Fantasy by GG.

Barring character development...

In the last session we used/referenced:

The core books
The Book of the Righteous
The Complete Book of Eldritch Might
Sword & Fist
From Stone to Steel
Relics & Rituals I

Most of these were to check weapon, spell, or feat particulars.

That reminds me. I use WotC's Map-of-the-Week series as well as some of the templates over there. (not map of the week templates though, that's just wierd) ;)

Thaumaturge.

PHB, DMG, MM, Mongoose Pocket PHB, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, Fiend Folio. PCs are using Quint Cleric, Quint Wizard, and (I think) Quint Fighter or else Sword and Fist. AEG's Toolbox lurks around too, but they're currently wiping out the last of the mines in RttToEE, so not much is needed from Toolbox.

It's a good question. What books do you use? The real question is, how do you mean use?

For instance, several players in my campaign have characters that originate outside of the core rules in terms of feats, spells, magic items and in some cases, alternative core classes. Are those books where those items came from 'In use'?

Otherwise, as a GM, it's mainly monster books. In my Forgotten Realms campaign, I've been using a lot of Dragon Magazine material to help supplement my game. For instance, the Cult of the Ebon Maw has been around since the party was 1st level and they've fought demons from various sourcebooks that were servants or slaves to the Ebon Maw.

Another example is templates. I have a lot of cultist who've become Ebon Servitors (or ebony, I get it mixed up) from the Deluxe book of Templates. Do they count as in use?

If I prep that week's game with it, refer to it during the game, or lend one to my players, I consider it used for the purposes of my weekly list.

But heck... it's not like you are filling out your taxes here... tell us anything you want! ;)
