In the process of creating my own Vanity Frankenstein of 5E home rules, I have taken from 2024 D&D in a few spots where the change seemed for the better (exhaustion, a handful of spells), but otherwise the basis is 2014 with some 2E and 3E thrown in.
Similar with my FrankenRPG, taking what I feel is the best of 2014 5E, hints of 2024 5E, Baldur's Gate mechanics, 2E and 3E. (A lot of throw backs to 2E). I'm not looking for simpler, but in many ways more simulationist.

I have my copy of the MM...

I will not be changing my current game. That has nothing to do with my opinion of the rules - I just don't like making major rules changes late in a campaign.

When we choose the next game, 2014, 2024, and many other games will be on the table.
same, I don't plan to switch in the middle of my current campaign, and will assess once this campaign ends.

Technically, we've already switched. We're going to be living in 2025 for the time being to get fully used to it before we open up the possibility of taking anything back up from 2014 (other than some adventures - which I'm updating with new monster stat blocks).

Not currently playing 2014. If a new D&D game pops up, it could be 2014 or 2024, depending on the people who end up being able to play.

With regard to the overall question of "how are you reacting to the 2024 update?," my IRL group general attitude is generally "it's there."

Staying with 2014 and some homebrew rules, I don’t want to change the rules, because I barely got some of my players understanding them (Not a slight against them, we still have fun playing). In the future, i may incorporate or modify some of the 2024 rules, but overall, I’m not a big fan.
