I suspected as much, but the math says otherwise.I totally disagree.

Can you show that math, curious to see what it looks likeI suspected as much, but the math says otherwise.
9/20 =45% to hit ; if you up the AC by a few points it is 9/23 =30% to hit. 30% is less fun than 45%. Of course at that level (15) you could see monsters with AC 22, so a few points higher might get you 9/25 =20%Can you show that math, curious to see what it looks like
Were 9/23 =23-9=14/20=70% miss or 30% hit. I could be wrong, math is not my thing9/20 =45% to hit ; if you up the AC by a few points it is 9/23 =39% to hit. 39% is less fun than 45%. Of course at that level (15) you could see monsters with AC 22, so a few points higher might get you 9/25 =36%
the discussion was about upping HP, not AC9/20 =45% to hit ; if you up the AC by a few points it is 9/23 =30% to hit. 30% is less fun
where is the 9 coming from?9/20 =45% to hit ; if you up the AC by a few points it is 9/23 =30% to hit. 30% is less fun than 45%. Of course at that level (15) you could see monsters with AC 22, so a few points higher might get you 9/25 =20%
+4 from ability and +5 from proficiencywhere is the 9 coming from?
Sorry. Your math is wrong.9/20 =45% to hit ; if you up the AC by a few points it is 9/23 =30% to hit. 30% is less fun than 45%. Of course at that level (15) you could see monsters with AC 22, so a few points higher might get you 9/25 =20%
Ok, your math is even more wonky.+
+4 from ability and +5 from proficiency
you're assuming a level 13+ character hasn't maxed out their attack ability? weird assumption, but okay, i guess.+
+4 from ability and +5 from proficiency
