Eternalknight, that sure does bring back memories. :D

i remember playing Pool of Radiance back in 1989 and loving it.

Indeed. All the people in my gaming group at the time were really impressed with it :) Even more so when at one point I had a dwarf adventurer with an 19 Con and he read that Manual of Bodily Health, giving him a 20. Some more adventureing occurs for a bit, then I used the sleep command. We winced as the screen just went nuts with messages; we'd had that problem with a mage - a glitch in the program basically gave him infinite Magic Missles. Then we realized.. those are all healing messages. But why...? Then we realized that having a 20 Con gave him that 1/pt an hour (?) regeneration capability. We were well and truly impressed that they'd remembered that one little detail.

I did a phlan campaign recently. I needed a much more detailed map than those that I had (i had all of the above maps), so I ended up creating one based on the original layout of the city. Its done in CC2 and is very simple as I not a talented map maker but it worked well for me. If your interested I can send it to you via email.

That would be wonderful, Thullgrim. I don't have CC2 though :(. Anyway you could send it as a high res jpg or eps file? I VERY MUCH appreciate it. I've been hunting all over the web for a good one and I had only come up with the ones above. My email is:

pab_garcia@hotmail.com

Thank you :)

Anyway, it looks like the Moonsea book has the "latest" version. Anyone have a scan of that one?

I found this on Google:

I find the coloring quite suitable. Or am I the only one that sees the name and thinks "custard"? :)

Ah...good old Phlan. The current campaign I am in started with the Pool of Radiance. Started out level 1 and we are currently working on level 16 and level 17. Our company even has a house in Phlan along with a compound just outside of Phlan.

Damn I'm surprised no one has a CC2 jpg or eps version of this map :(. Campaign Cartographer won't work on my Macintosh unfortunately, or I'd try to get that myself. Ugh :(.
