D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Seconding this.

I am in the process of setting up a game for some brand new players, and I'm going to suggest that they use your amazing character sheet. However, I am not going to use any of the optional actions. It would be really great if it was possible to turn off Tumble, Overrun, and Mark from the action/bonus action/attack list in Character Sheet I, to be less confusing and less cluttered.

Thanks!

For now, unprotect CSI and just delete those values and then protect the sheet.

Question about Damage Reduction.

I see where you can toggle 'Additional Damage Reduction' on the Start Sheet. But where do you indicate what amount of DR ?

Just type the value in ;). Drop down is there for the different types of damage, you can select from that list then type the amount in front (e.g. 3 acid)

No that did not help, when I took out the level gained (the 1 - 5 in the blue cell) on the custom tab, then on the start tab, the character detail part did not show anything ( no Patron or Expanded Spell list ) and there was still the spellcasting page showing the error. I guess it is more of an annoyance than anything

Fix will come in the next build for the red text errors on the spellcasting sheet.

Having problems with the racial modifier and warlock multi class

Hello, first off, I'd like to say thank you for this amazing character sheet. It makes the games I play in so much better having this tool on hand. I showed it to my GM and she loves it.

There are a couple of things that don't seem to be working right tho.

First, the racial modifier dose not seem to be working. For example, I select warlock Elf sub-race High with leather armor and rolled a dex of 11. The racial modifier is +2 and the leather adds +1, and 0 modifier for a roll of 11. I should have a +3 in total for dex but it only shows the +1 from the armor in the character sheet. I get the same problem if I change to a Halfling Lightfoot. I have not checked all the races so I don't know if they all have that problem.

Secondly, the multi-classing spell spell slots don't seem to be working properly with Warlocks. For example, if I have a Lv. 2 Cleric and get Lv. 1 Warlock, I still have the three 1st Lv. spell slots. If I only level warlock from then on to Lv 4, for example, I still only have the three Lv. 1 spell slots from the Lv. 2 Cleric. But if I would have gone with a Lv. 1 Bard (or Wizard, or Sorcerer) for my Lv. 3, I get four Lv. 1 spell slots and two Lv. 2 spell slots for my Lv. 3 Character.

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned in the comments before, I tried looking to see if it has already been mentioned but I might have missed it.

Thank you again for this tool, it is awesome!

I'm not sure I understood this completely but your character's Dex should be 13 (11 from your roll and an additional 2 from your race) and its Armor Class should be 12 (11 from the leather and a additional 1 from your Dex modifier). Leather armor doesn't normally add to your Dexterity score.

The Warlock's Pact Magic slots and the spell slots that other casters have are not the same thing, and do not stack. Assuming you're using the version 2.22, a level 2 Cleric / 1 Warlock should show you having 3 1st level spell slots and 1 1st level pact magic slot.

I see, thank you. I did not notice that there is a different place for pact magic spell slots. As for the racial modifiers, I was only looking at the modifier not the final score, thank you.

Sorry for the miss-understanding on my part , and thank you for clearing it out for me. Although, now my GM is looking at me with a "Why didn't you ask me?" face.

And again, thank you for making this amazing character sheet.

Looks like ForgedAnvil is going to be busy this winter updating this tool! Apparently the new hardcover book Xanathar's Guide to Everything, scheduled for release in late November, will have 3 new sub-classes for every class, except Wizard which will have only one new sub-class (but wizards already have more than any other class). No details, yet, on what those sub-classes will be other than they rated the highest in player tests (read Unearthed Arcana material).

Should be fun! Will need a bunch of hands and eyes for the updates, I'm sure there will be challenges with the new sub-class implementations!

v2.22
For an Oath of Vengeance paladin, in the Active Features of CSI the Vow of Enmity should not have a duration of "Until Save". It lasts for 1 minute, or until the target reaches 0 hit points or falls unconscious, whichever comes first. (PH p88) There is no save for this particular form of Channel Divinity.

Noted and corrected in v2.23 - thanks
