Forgetful [General, trait]
You're not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Benefit: Every time you roll for knowlege, adjust the final result by -5, but you may, now, reroll the check every round for as many rounds as your knowlege check has ranks.
Special: The DM may enforce this feat, and make the character forget some other things, and the feat may now be taken 10 and 20, as you can think about it hard or try it alot.

Do you think it is any good.

Okay, this is just odd. Athough you get full marks for creativetity. So, you get mutiple chances to make a knowledge check except that you get a penalty on all the rolls. I can see the arch type forgetful, unorganized Wizard with something like that.

The penalty is pretty darn high. What if instead of a penalty, it just took longer for the information to be thought of? For instance the Wizard makes a check at 9am, but it isn't until 3pm (6 hours later) that the information comes to him.

I like the idea but i do not like the way it is implemented.
Too many dice.
And besides, difficult to say if it is an advantage or disadvantage, because it depends on the value of the knowledge skill and on the DC
Since it is a feat, it should be an advantage.
So let's see
1° It work with all knowledge skills
2° A feat can give +2 to a skill
3° However, you want also a balancing factor

What about this: all your knowledge skill have a +2 bonus
However, the GM makes the roll for you.
If you beat the DC by 5 or more, it is just a normal success.
If you beat the DC by 1 to 4, it takes time to remember the fact
1: 4D6 minutes
2: 3D6 minutes
3: 2D6 minutes
4: D6 minutes

And I think the feat should always be "on". Someone who is forgetful should always be so.
