D&D General Forgotten Realms Books Tables of Contents

The Table of Contents for both Heroes of Faerun and Adventures in Faerun.

Picked the books up this morning and love what I’ve seen so far. I’ll answer whatever questions I can here.

Does the Character Species in Chapter 1 offer up any new crunch for the species or is it just FR Lore about each species?

Just new lore. Any “new” species is just pointing you to Monsters of the Multiverse (for Deep Gnome and Duergar).

Huh. I meant what was being added, Feats? Likely feats, now that I think about it.

Lot of feats. Origin ones for the factions, general feats that build on those, plus
feats for the five settings and epic boons.

YESS thanks for sharing, I'm seeing everything that I wanted. 30 pages on Baldur's Gate specifically will be a godsend to my upcoming campaign.

Should be noted the printed book has an error:

Genies Splendor for the Paladin is 10+Dex+Con in the print but the Beyond version is 10+Dex+Cha.

They did not, I repeat NOT, shy away from using real-life Egyptian deity names in the Mulhorand section. The current deities of Mulhorand remain Horus-Re and the like.

There is a new Kkngdom of Many Arrows being assembled in the mountains of the North.

I see it's still basically the Sword Coast. Calimshan and Icewind Dale are on that coast, and the Moonshaes are off of it. The only significant expansion away from the Sword Coast is the Dale Lands.

I also wish they had included Baelnorn in the bestiary.
