Forgotten Realms Diety with it all?

Look at it this way, according to the novels, every follower of Mystra gets to either meet her, or bed her, so she's a very down to earth goddess!

To bad that was the old Mystra. Since Kelemvor dumped her, the new Mystra's very reserved (she even shunned Elminster as her playmate, and there are few in Faerûn who did that ;)

I don't agree with the previous comment that his clerics are "perfectionists and pacifists" (that's purely IMO and no offence intended). While perfectionism is something they would strive for, not being a Lawful deity means that the mean streak that makes "perfectionism/t" such a perjorative term is not an issue (again, IMO).

No offence taken, perfectionism has nothing to do with being lawful. Laws are hardly perfect and perfectionism isn't the strict adherence of rules.

My reasons for stating that he's a perfectionist is that "self-perfection" is part of his portfolio and "Perfect yourself" is part of his dogma. Maybe not perfectionism, but self-perfectionism, but there's hardly a difference.

The pacifist thing, of course, is open to debate. Undead-slayers of the Morninglord can be quite warlike, but there are quite a lot Lathander-worshipers who prefer an athletic contest or something like that to war.
