Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas - How To Buy It!

Yes, it's out of print. It's ridiculous what kind of prices people on Ebay are asking. My advice: Craigslist! I found the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas on Craigslist in Seattle for only 35 bucks! This is one of the best gaming investments I have made. It saves SO much time! Picture GOOGLE EARTH, but FAERUN EARTH instead! It's not THAT well made, but you get the picture. In fact, since I bought this I have seen it on Craigslist at least 3 times for WAY cheaper than Ebay or Amazon!
I saw an old thread on here about it, so I thought I would let all you hard core Forgotten Realms fans know about it!

Wasn't our own Eric Noah involved with that?
Indeed, he was.

I'm not sure how good the original advice is. I looked on craigslist (at least in my area) and didn't see anyone offering it. In practice the advice seems to be "don't buy it for the high typical price, keep looking and maybe you'll find one copy someone is willing to let go for less than that."

It is a VERY powerful tool, but its interface is pretty clunky by today's standards. I keep hoping they will do a heavy revision with a smoother gui. Add that to the wishlist for 4e.

I know that ProFantasy was pushing for an update not too long ago (and there is an online petition page out there somewhere).

Personally, I'd rather see the abandoned Eberron Interactive Atlas get worked on (supposedly the maps were done) and cleaned up for CC3 and released before an update to the FR Atlas. Then put out an updated FR Atlas.
