After the Spellplague, Calimshan was divided between an efreet named Memnon (ruling from the city named after him) and a djinn named Calim (ruling from Calimport), both of whom had previously been trapped for millennia before the Spellplague freed them. Both were later overthrown and re-banished before the Second Sundering. I assume that the earthmotes in the art would be due to the fact that Calim, being an air genie, either purposely or accidentally (due to the area being under the influence of a powerful creature of Elemental Air), caused some areas of the city to float in the air.

So an Earth Mote not caused by the Spellplague so not effected by the Sundering, makes some kind of sense.

I wonder how complete they will be with the FR Pantheons?

How will they handle Mulhorand and Unther Pantheons? Will we get Sa, Jisis, Cathar, Jeb, Anyhuuuur instead of their proper names?

Actually to be fair they all already had regional, say Thayan names for example they could use so if they don't want to use their more well known Egyptian or Greek names (Some of the names were actually the Greek, not Egyptian versions of the names).

Gilgeam is already a fantasy version of the name Gilgamesh, but Enlil is not and he's back, same with Nanna-Sin, but I assume they got do the same thing with them using existing regional names. Still hope they don't do this, but whatever.

Silvanus, Tyr, etc..., will have the same issues.

and will they use the same none Human Pantheons as the SCAG versions or the Expanded versions in MTOF (perhaps the best lore part of MTOFs)?

Pretty much guaranteed that they won't use real world deities: it will be interior see if they have new takes, or just focus on the West of the continent...

Despite being originally a Norse deity, I think Tyr is safe, as his Realms counterpart is significantly different from his real-world version. The remaining real-world deities are much more obscure (with the possible exception of Silvanus) and could very likely not even get more than a cursory looking-over. The Mulhorandi deities are definitely trickier, but, as said previously, we do have alternate names in the wings if deemed necessary. And, if they don't change the names as well, I doubt if there would be anyone at all around to object to using Mesopotamian deities, even if they were somehow completely mishandled.

What are the alternate names, out of curiosity?

I think Ed Greenwood thought Silvanus was obscure when he picked him, but it turns out he was a very popular God in the ancient world.

But it assumes obscurity should matter in this at all.

Honestly after decades without any protests from the Pagan community, they should just look at where the broader culture is at and realize using the names is perfectly fine. I mean God of War is getting a TV show and they had Jeff Goldbloom playing Zeus, as did Lance Armstrong (notice how none of the Pagan community complained about race swapping, Zeus takes whatever form he wants to, example Hera appears as an Indian women in the Dionsyium).

But honestly they don't care what I think. At minimum at least use one of the Canon alternate names.

Not necessarily. The earthmotes in Neverwinter were caused by the Spellplague, and they are still there. It's good to assume that not all earthmotes fell, or that they are backtracking from their decision at the time. After all, a lot of new players liked the concept of "floating islands in the sky".

SCAG framed most information as layers of runor, and WotC is not terribly concerned with just changing things to provide new stories.
