Closest I can say is... tried 4e, went back to other gaming systems.
My gaming group was moving away from 3e (well, 3.wombat, heavily modified with lots of elements from Arcana Evolved, Skull & Bones, and other non-WotC supplements) a couple of years ago. I was able to convince them to try other systems and after a very short time had them convinced. NWoD (Changeling) went over very well, as did Ars Magica.
When 4e came out, we were underwhelmed by our initial view of it. However, we decided to play a few sessions to make sure we really understood it. So we played three sessions. And we swore we'd never go back to it. Too much like a tactical miniatures game, too little differentiation between the types of characters (everyone has the same mix of type of powers, which makes them all feel generic), too much emphasis on combat, too little emphasis on social interaction and non-combat powers. Nah, not to our tastes.
So we moved from trying 4e to ... Changeling. We may come back to D&D some day, but not soon, and it won't be 4e.
