Founding of a Guild (4e)

It doesn't take much to dig out a small chest, made of wood and crudely carved.
Oak recognizes some of the motives, that remind him of a ritual of some nature-worshipping cultures, that involves offering precious objects to natural spirits to beriend them. Some of the figures on the chest may resemble dragonborns,or lizardfolk, and one is similar to the strange plant-covered humanoid you fought before.

Once opened, the chest contains some items, clearly not of the same craft as the chest's:
-Two vials filled with a bluish fluid.
-four small precious gems, finely cut.
-a pair of elegant black gloves with golden weaves

Oak shares the information it recognizes with Isdar, then tries on the gloves.

[sblock=oak, isdar]after toying with the itms a bit:
(the goves are gloves of agility: they confer +1 to acrobatics and stealth and to dexterity checks). The two vials seem to contain potions of healing
The gems should be worth around 100gps each[/sblock]

Isdar gratefully accepts the gloves. He puts them on and enjoys the soft way they feel on his skin. Thank you, Oak. I will use them to help us get out of here. He thinks for a moment. As to the other items, I am fine with having you hold the gems, but perhaps we could each have one of the potions? Now, shall we head back to the village and see about Meri's health?

As you shake Elias, concentrated on taking care of Meriadeth, he lifts her and departs wth you, leaving a regretful look behind.

--------------------------------------------------------
The trip back is as uneventful as the one that brought you to the swamps.
You're back at the village, and a couple of locals are already looking quizzically at you...

[sblock=voda and wd]It's past midday. The humidity, he thirst and hunger are starting to take their toll on Malek (you are weakened), while the warforged still looks largely unfazed. Then you see two people burst out from one of the farthest huts. One is a lizardfolk, maybe a chief judging by his adored clothes, the other is a human...or maybe an elf; one of the sleeves of his shirt is folded to the shoulder...he only has one arm. They're speaking loudly, even arguing, and you notice the man looks in your direction a couple of times, but you can't catch their words.[/sblock]

Without moving the warforged started a humming sound, one could suppose it was a warforged's "Hmm". "We are being addressed. Maybe it's time for your plan, organic." Earth slowly raises his head, and stares at Malek

[sblock=voda and ata]"The time has drained much of my strength, but I have some arcane tricks up my sleeve... " Malek whispers at the warforged. "If we can make a deal, we will do that. If not, we will have to fight through them."
