Quenthel is basically the Chosen of Lolth now*, and Lolth is giving birth (she had midwives in attendance). The Demonweb Pits are their own plane now, instead of being part of the Abyss.

My only beef is that Eilistraee is still alive. May she be eaten by Lolth!

Get me up to speed, please: What happened recently to Lolth and her clergy in the FR?

she stepped away. the clergy got their asses hand to them. and a whole bunch of enemies reeked havoc on the drow cities. some of the drow gods thought to better their positions in the pantheon. a couple tried. some defended lolth. some did not.

and then she came back. but in a new way.. kinda like a metamorphosis.
