As to a review, Kobold's must, for me, continually, like a bad prior relationship, atone for the abomination of Hoard of the Dragon Queen. But, after skimming this anthology of random scenarios, totally solid with great "conclusion" sections that suggest leads to further adventure. And damn, it's free?

I think it is safe to assume that the faults with HotDQ lie firmly on the WotC side of the business relationship. "Hey, we need you write an adventure set in the Realms and based on Realmslore - except it has nothing to with established Realmslore so it's a giant retcon. Except it isn't. Actually, it's based on some ideas in Dragons of Eberron which we thought were really cool. Oh, and here are the 5E rules, except they aren't. Yes, they will change a few times but, don't worry, our editors will catch the problems in the same way as they always caught see page xx problem in the past...."
