A full-length adventure which introduces the Northern Crown campaign setting, available FREE from Adamant Entertainment. (Click on cover image to be taken to the RPGNow product page)
The Yuchi town of Chisca, nestled in a mountain vale deep in Cherokee territory, has been recently attacked by haints issuing from nearby caves.
Something has stirred these monstrous humanoids, but the cause is in dispute. Some say that treasure hunters, searching in vain for a golden relic of a Uropan priest, have inadvertently roused the haints, who may be the ruined remnants of a century-old expeditionary force of mercenaries led by an notorious plunderer.
Others say that the mercenary captain's spirit has awoken after a century-long sleep, and is sending forth his followers to exact revenge upon the town that resisted his brutal search for gold and led to the destruction of his company....
Adamant Entertainment will be producing continuing support for the setting, and this free 44-page adventure, written by Northern Crown creator Doug Anderson, serves as an introduction to the setting and the support line. The PDF comes in two versions: The full lay-out, with all graphics, and a graphics-light version for printing.
