I second printing in b&w. If you go to a refill store it works out cheaper too. I printed the Fat Dragon pdf for £12. What's that, about $22?
Printer ink is a crazy situation, though. It's actually become cheaper now (in the UK at least) to buy a new printer with half filled cartridges already fitted, than to buy replacement cartridges.

rgard said:For the US folks here, check your local walgreens. Some of them have ink refill machines and they fill a black cartridge for about $10. Call ahead; they advertise this service, but not all the walgreens have the machine to do it.
