Frukathka's Weapon Special Abilities

[Angel Tarragon]

This is a thread for my Special Abilities for weapons. First up: the Corrupt special ability.

Corrupt
A corrupt weapon is imbued with vile and and unholy power. This power makes the weapon evil aligned and thus bypasses corresponding damage reduction. the weapon inflicts 2d6+12 against all of good alignment. It bestows two negative levels on any good creature attempting to wield it. The negative levels remain as long as the weapon is in hand and disappears when the weapon is no longer wielded. These negative levels never result in actual level loss, but it cannot become overcome in any way (including restoration spells) while the weapon is wielded. Bows, crossbows and slings so crafted bestow the vile and unholy power upon their ammunition.

Strong evocation [evil]; CL 14th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, unholy blight; creator must be evil; Price +4 bonus

Useful
Any melee or ranged weapon can have this quality imbued upon it. A creature wielding a weapon with this special ability does not suffer any penalties for using this weapon if they aren't proficient with it.

Faint Transmutation; Caster Level 5th; Craft Magic Arms & Armor; proficiency; Price +1 Bonus

Note: The proficiency spell appears in Monte Cook's Complete Book of Eldritch Might

I wouldn't make it it's own feat. Just have the ability require one of the vile feats out of BoVD
