Fun with Quickened Wand

Not very abuse-worthy with wands, but what about scrolls? According to the rules quoted a quickened scroll can be used as a free action, but the level is not limited as in a wand.

What about a quickened potion? It could be a liquid that leaps into your mouth of its own volition as soon as you uncork it.

Not sure if I am doing it correct, but this is how I do it.

Barring, Heighten, I use the metamagicked level for the cost of the wand but _not_ for the level restriction.

PHB, page 78: "Magic Items and Metamagic Spells: With the right item creation feat, a character can store a metamagic spell in a scroll, potion, or wand. Level limits for potions and wands apply to the spell’s higher, metamagic level. A character doesn’t need the metamagic feat to activate an item storing a metamagic spell. "

Going back to the orginal question (and assuming you can make quickened wands) I would vote for virtue and Cure Minor wounds. Both add a hit point each round. Maybe not real important but could save 8-12 hit points ina long battle.

Craft Staff has no level limit, though it would take longer to get to.


How abot Quickened Haste?

Or Vampiric Touch?

Phantasmal Killer?

Hey, if you want to go Epic, you only need two Epic feats to get a Quickened Staff of Heal/Harm.
