Funniest RPG typo ever?

"Monter" in Polish means a guy who can assemble, install or repair something (for example you can say that plumber is a kind of "monter").

So perhaps there are some terrifying monters somewhere out there...

LOL! That's a scarry thought!

What's wrong with a 15 ft. tall black salad? I mean, we already have shambling mounds, gibbering mouthers, oozes, gelatinous cubes and a colossal marshmellow/gingerbread man.

The typo mentioned by DaveWizard is pretty funny.
Now we finally know why wizards are the most powerful class! :D

:)

You know, back when I chose this nickname around 1994, I wanted to go by WizardDave on AOL, but it had already been taken. So I tried DaveWizard, but that had been taken too.

I settled for DaveMage. :)

(Edit - the scary thing was that about 4 years ago, I got an e-mail from an AOL member who was disappointed because his *real* name was Dave Mage and I had taken that name!)

My favorite typo is in the Dragonlance Key of Destiny module. Apparently, the ancient city of Hurim died out a long time ago, leaving ruins for folks to explore. Further examination of the text reveals why- the stone walls had a bread DC of 50! They must have been pretty hard up to try to eat rock =)

One of the funniest things that I have ever seen in a printed professional module was one that our DM was running us through in 2ed. We were playing a group of primairly Elf and Half-Elf nature based characters (I was a Ftr/Druid, we had another Druid, 2 Rangers and a Wizard who used elemental magic etc..). Anyway we were starting the adventure, having arrived at some rich nobleman's house when the DM read the boxed text that went something to the effect of "You enter the long hallway, lined with exotic rare plants, obvioulsy being grown with some sort of magical means. Enslaved Fey creatures play bright, spritely music." At which point the entire party says "Enslaved what?" The DM looks up and says "Why don't we just forget that part and move on." Ever since then we have made jokes about the boxed text.

My real name is Simkin (see my sig below). I met a girl once who was into the fantasy genre had been told that I was too. She didn't know my name and when I told her, she didn't believe me! I had to show her my ID.
