"Get Your Paws Off Me You Damm Dirty Raccoon!!"

I had a friend a number of years back run us through a Gamma World campaign in which no humans survived the cataclysm, so he told us there would be only mutated animals and plant characters.

Obviously basically a furry campaign.

Then he pulled a fast one on us by telling us that our characters would be human astronauts from the past who's spaceship crashed back on Earth after a deep space mission in which were criogenically frozen. :D

BUMP! Changed some of the sizes and ECLs, adjusted some ability score modifiers. Added ability score modifiers for Int, Wis, and Cha for some species.

Yup...the world of Fauna (or something like it!) could easily exist as a planet in Dragonstar or Spelljammer D20!

And for the fellow a few posts back who's players think furries are wierd and would never willingly play such a game...its very easy to fit a "hidden valley" or "inaccessible plateau" or "mysterious island" into a campaign world. And guess what lives in those remote places? Ever read the Island of Dr. Moreau? ;)

All you have to do is find a way to get the PCs there, and you can run a few sessions as they try to find ways to escape. Portals to strange worlds in the multiverse also work well. That is, unless you fear that doing such a thing would cause your players to rebel. lol

Minor issue I dislike bat's being called rodents, but that's just minor.

I know bats arent rodents, but the ability score modifiers match up well with them so we can let the misnomer slide for the sake of simlicity. I suppose I could pull Bats off into their own category, but their size and ability score mods would be the same as those I have for Small Rodents, so it would be redundant. If you download the page, you can edit bats into their own slot if ya wanna. :)

Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats HOoO!

One of my all time favorite cartoons.
Didn't someone come up with stats for these characters?
How do you think they fit with this system?

Thundercats? Hmm...

Lion-O = Fighter
Cheetara = Ranger (?)
Panthro = Barbarian
Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat = Rogues
And the tiger guy who's name I cant remember = Fighter
Snarf = New prestige class: Annoying Pain in the Tookas! lol
Mumm-Ra = Lich

Yes...I, too, am a child of the 80s, as demonstrated by my DnD Cartoon Characters thread! LOL

Allow me to make some alternate choices...

Lion-O = I'd assume he was a Paladin, from his attitude and his resolute courage... But maybe he's just a Fighter with a high Will save...

Panthro, a Barbarian? Nahh... He used Nunchaku, and was obviously Buff, so I'd say he was a Monk, with skills as an engineer and a technician.

And the Wileys seem to have as many "Magic" tricks as they do rogueish-skills, really.

Just my ten cents...

Oh this is too good!

First hit on Google:
Thundercats goodness!

And that other one was Tygra.
I have to agree that Lion-O was a paladin... with a holy sword! And Panthro... a monk sounds plausible.

Sorry DnDChick I don't want to turn this into a Thundercats hijack. It's just that they are my all time favorite anthropomorphs.:D

But now I want to play a Thundercat adventure!

(edit: spelling:o )
