Fuzzy Knight Endoresment :D

Well, I can't help but want to brag a little... but the big man himself, gawdfather of gaming, Gary Gygax will be putting an endorsement on the Fuzzy Knights Trade Paperback Collection! :D This is what he wrote for it:

"Maybe I am just a kid at heart, but the Fuzzy Knights has become my
favorite gaming related comic strip. It has all the humor and amusing situations
that human-based strips have and more! Real, gamer-type personalities in
stuffed toy form, and great stories and sub-plots make it most special to me."

(sniff) brings a tear to my travel weary eye... hell, even if something happens and the TPC doesn't go to press, just knowing this makes me feel all warm and... er... fuzzy ;)

Happy Noah, happy Noah!

Awesome. Glad to hear the Fuzzy Knights are succesfull. I thought the comics were good, but obviously Mr. Gygax is a real fan.

Awesome! I'm unfortunately not very well-versed in Fuzzy Knights lore, because I use a 56k connection, and all those pictures take far too long to load... :(

Great that Mr. Gygax likes it, though!

check 'em out!

The man (G.G.) has way with words :)

seriously, check out the Knights if you are looking for a good, gaming related web comic with a fun twist.

Fuzzy animals just simply work for something like this; although it beats me as to why. The world of the fuzzies provides a twist to our "real" world that causes the reader to think a little more about what is going on and how things are different in the Fuzzy world as compared to other strips like PvP or KoDT.

i will be looking for the TPC when it comes out.

meantime go to http://www.kenzerco.com third link down on the right to check out the Fuzzy International Gaming Tournament storyline going on now ...

:)

I have faithfully read all the strips (and I have a 56k connection) and think they are great. You got to love (or hate ;) ) Ben.

Oh, and I hope things are going well on your bicycle trip Noah!

Mean Eyed Cat: Actually I'm done the bike trip (thanks ;) ) and back in one piece... my bike... not quite so much so.

genshou: well, if the TPC comes out, it'll be your chance to get caught up :D

ArcOfCorinth: make sure you order it from your local Weird Pete's then ;)

Macbeth: Is that a stabity stab dagger I see before you?

Trainz: Thankz ;)

romp: I'm not sure what makes it work, either... I think part of it is because I don't try to include "real" people in the strip (aside from a single hallusination). Any time there are people, their heads are turned or cut off or whatever, and on purpose. Like never seeing the parents in Charlie Brown, I guess. I think that in part helps maintain their own little reality, adding people to the mix would ruin it (I think)

Just wanted to reply to each of ya :D
