I'd like to read from the beginning, but for some reason I can't go further backwards than #31. How should I do that?

Yeah, K&C took off 1-30 in part for space reasons (each strip takes up 1-2 MB of memory!) And once this movie is finished, it will probably happen again. I told them to keep up 31 and beyond until this storyline ended because otherwise it would be TOO confusing for new readers! 31, howerver, is as good a place to begin as any, since it does take you to the begining of the current story

Hopefully an archive will be made in the near future for earlier strips, but that's up to the Powers That Be to decide.

Also, there should be a button to press to move to the next strip at the bottom of the screen. It would eliminate a lot of unnecessary scrolling.

Yeah, I talked about that too... but it would involve a lot of effort to do (apparantly). I don't make the webpage, mind you But I did get him to add a "return to top" link, so it makes it that much easier at least (much more annoying before that!)

Weird that they take down past strips for space reason. In the modern world of 100 gigabytes disks, 30x2=60 megs are (literally) pocket money.

(well I did say "in part"... I'm willing to bet that the fact that they recently released the first 22 strips in a trade paperback had SOMETHING to do with it but then, I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to business)

Weird that they take down past strips for space reason. In the modern world of 100 gigabytes disks, 30x2=60 megs are (literally) pocket money.

Could be more about bandwidth than space restrictions...
