Even though this thread has pretty much played itself out, I thought I'd add a few more bits of info I've learned about the changes G4 is making.
First, the new Screen Savers is apparently going to be the same show as Pulse. Come April, the name will be changed. Rumor has it that it's either going to be called "Game Savers" or go back to being "Pulse".
Secondly, Unscrewed's timeslot will be taken over by a show called Girls Gone Wired. That was actually the name of a segment on Unscrewed, btw. I hope Martin Sargent will be getting some money for their use of it.
I'm not sure what this new series will be about. It's supposed to concern "game girls", but I have no idea if it's about female characters in games or gamer girls. Either way, it seems like a very limited topic to me. :\
Also, Filter resently ran an episode about new tech to buy for the holidays. In other words, Filter will be covering the topics that the now cancelled Fresh Gear did.
In the end, aside from X-Play and possibly Anime Unleashed (if it makes the cut), there isn't even going to be a trace that any TechTV shows ever ran on G4.
