As a late-teenage gamer I was really very into Werewolf: The Apocalypse, but I find that all of its strong points can be done just as well (or even better) in Werewolf: The Forsaken, and the latter is a broader game; narrow focus on the "furry ecoterrorist" theme was one of the biggest weaknesses of original Werewolf. As was the expansion to breedbook heaven.
