Tyrion was, as always, awesome. Pissing off the edge of the world!
I was ROFL when I saw him do this.

I was especially surprised that they showed him doing this after Tyrion mentioned wanting to do this in last episode. I did not think that they would show it after the queen b*&^%ed about his filth in front of the kids.

I still have no clue on the names of the characters and some of the relationships, but the show is keeping me interested. So far it's well done, and the characters (however they are called) are al linteresting.

I liked the scene where the King is trying to ridicule or rile up that Lannister (sp) boy with his memories of the "Mad King". I don't really know what happened, why the king was mad, but it seems to hint at more depth and a more complex motivation behind the character (whatever his full name is. :) )

I think HBO has done a nice job on this site laying out what a viewer needs to know about the characters, houses, and lands of Westeros.

This is Littlefinger's first appearance. He is subtle, conniving, and scheming. But what makes him so dangerous is that no one KNOWS he's this way...yet.

The reason why he seemed so flat in this episode is because he is a new character. THey'll build on him in the next few episodes, so no worry there.

Arya was phenomenal. Bran was incredible. Where in the world did they find those kids? They are awesome!

Varys was spot on. I felt like I needed a shower as I watched his too brief appearance. That says a LOT.

Of course, Tyrion was perfection. By far my favorite character, both in the books and on screen.
