Happy to see the tournament did continue on. Cool to see The Hound go against his brother. Boy is that Loris a lot more gay than I imagined him. But he's also playing a strange game, seems to be manipulating Renly to his advantage. I wonder how prominent he will be in the last few books.
I think Peter and Varys are being played very well. You don't know what either of them are up to, which is how it should be.
I pictured Peter a bit differently. But Varys is spot on. The actor is nailing that character. The casting was very good in this series.
Now that you get to see more of The Mountain, he is indeed an impressively huge man. That sword was crazy big. When he killed his horse, that was harsh.
I love the series. I can only hope HBO makes enough to keep it going to at least the end of book three. Doubtful Martin will have the final two books done before the series is canceled. It looks expensive to make. It will get moreso as the dragons and dire wolves become more integral to the story.
